I was always a big fan of 'ditty' writing by McCartney. Very short songs that were melodically catchy and didn't drag on any longer than was necessary to have impact and leave you wanting more. McCartney was a master of this form of writing with songs like 'I Will', 'Her Majesty', 'Michelle', 'Your Mother Should Know', & 'When I'm 64'.

I also very much enjoyed the idea of writing three distinct sections in a song that didn't repeat. And all in under a minute. A 'Ditty'.
